The Mishimoto heat shield is specifically engineered to reduce the thermal impact in the engine compartment of the Subaru Impreza WRX/STI due to the heat generated by the turbo and exhaust manifold. This shield perfectly accommodates standard EJ205/EJ255/EJ257 turbo setups without requiring modifications, and it withstands temperatures up to 1260°C. Constructed from silica, stainless steel, and titanium, the heat shield effectively isolates the intake and cooling systems from the elevated temperatures produced by the turbocharger, ensuring enhanced performance and durability.
