The Mishimoto heat shield is engineered to reduce the thermal impact on the engine compartment caused by the turbo and exhaust manifold's heat in the Ford Mustang S550 Ecoboost and Focus 3 RS. This shield is compatible with standard 2.3 Ecoboost turbos and requires no modifications for installation, offering protection against temperatures up to 1260°C. Constructed from silica, stainless steel, and titanium, it effectively isolates the intake and cooling systems from the high temperatures generated by the turbocharger, enhancing both performance and durability.
