The Mishimoto heat shield is specifically engineered to reduce thermal propagation caused by the elevated temperatures of the turbo and exhaust manifold in the engine bay of the Ford Focus 3 ST. This shield seamlessly integrates with the standard 2.0 Ecoboost turbochargers without any adjustments and can withstand temperatures up to 1260°C. Constructed from silica, stainless steel, and titanium, it effectively isolates the intake and cooling systems from the intense heat generated by the turbo, ensuring peak efficiency and durability.
